Dr. Rojas works with adults of all ages who are finding difficulty navigating life’s daily stressors. She particularly enjoys working with corporate and creative professionals experiencing anxiety and panic attacks, burn-out and depression, perfectionistic tendencies, and work/life balance issues. Dr. Rojas also enjoys working with young adults experiencing life transitions and relationship issues. Through a collaborative process, clients feel empowered to reflect on patterns of behavior and enact change in their lives. Dr. Rojas' clinical style is integrative and tailored to each client's specific needs. Overall, her work is largely influenced by psychodynamic theory as well as methods including cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness techniques.
With almost a decade of experience working in the corporate/financial services industry prior to becoming a Psychologist, Dr. Rojas is able to seamlessly integrate corporate insights and psychological acumen. Dr. Rojas works with leaders of various industries to sharpen decision-making abilities and address the mental roadblocks that may be hindering performance. She also consults with various organizations on how to nurture leadership development and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives. Dr. Rojas' unique combination of professional experience and in-depth psychological expertise makes her treatment precise yet comprehensive.
Combining her previous experience working in Criminal Court, Family Court, and Law Enforcement, Dr. Rojas is able to complete clear and concise forensic evaluations including: competency and fitness to waive counsel, criminal responsibility, dispositional planning for juvenile offenders, risk assessments, pre-employment evaluations in law enforcement and public safety, and law enforcement disqualification appeals. Dr. Rojas is also able to employ her psychological assessment experience to clarify psychiatric diagnosis, complete IQ/cognitive testing, or personality assessments.
Dr. Rojas' psychological insights have been featured by MSN, NBC News, Yahoo Lifestyle, Bustle, and more. Dr. Rojas has led numerous speaking engagements, symposiums, and workshops for corporate organizations, universities, and graduate programs. Dr. Rojas has shared her expertise on topics of diversity including: the model minority myth, microaggressions in the workplace, and stigma related to mental illness. Dr. Rojas has also shared her expertise on how to build a successful private practice to other clinicians in the mental health field.
Dr. Rojas is a licensed psychologist with a decade of experience spanning clinical, forensic, and corporate settings. Her clinical experience includes community mental health settings, acute psychiatric hospitals, correctional facilities, and law enforcement. Having spent years in the financial services industry prior to becoming a psychologist, Dr. Rojas maintains a specialty focus working with professionals and corporate leaders of various industries.
Dr. Rojas has also led numerous speaking engagements, conference presentations, symposiums, and workshops. She is a published author who has lent her expertise to research publications and book chapters on institutional oppression and the systemic disenfranchisement of people of color. She has been featured in various media outlets including NBC News, Yahoo Lifestyle, Bustle, and Well + Good, offering her expertise on issues related to diversity and general mental health.
Dr. Rojas earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Delaware and her masters and doctoral degrees from Teachers College, Columbia University’s Department of Clinical and Counseling Psychology. She completed her pre-doctoral psychology residency at Rutgers/University Correctional Healthcare where she held clinical rotations within the University of Medicine and Dentistry and New Jersey Department of Corrections.

New clients welcome, although availability may be limited. Appointments are scheduled Monday-Friday, 8AM-8PM. Teletherapy only at this time. Our teletherapy sessions allow clients to receive quality mental health care from the comfort and convenience of their own home. We utilize a secure and easy-to-use platform to provide clients with a safe and confidential space.
No health insurance plans are currently accepted. However, therapy services may be eligible for full or partial reimbursement by your health insurance company or employee benefit plan. Questions to ask your health insurance provider: Do I have outpatient mental health coverage? What is my out-of-network deductible for outpatient mental health? How much of my deductible has been met this year? How do I submit claim forms for reimbursement?
